Article L.121-21-8 12° provides for the absence of the right of withdrawal for "the provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car rental, catering or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period". The services governed by these general terms and conditions of sale are therefore applicable to Article L.121-21-8 12°.
In these general terms and conditions of sale ("GTC") is understood to mean :
"Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix": the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix, SARL, with a capital of 90,000 euros, registered with the RCS of Metz under the number B 349 718 130. Telephone number: 03.87.03.92.05. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
"Site": Internet site located at the following URL address: https://parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com/en/
"Park": Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix, located in Rhodes (57810)
"Customer": any natural person with whom the Sainte Croix Animal Park concludes a contract for the sale of tourist products. Hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Parties", and individually as a "Party".
"Order / contract": any contract binding the customer to the Sainte Croix Animal Park, for the realisation and execution of the sale of tourist products.
1.1 These GCS apply to any order by Internet of one or more Tourist Products subscribed to by the Customer on the Sainte Croix Wildlife Park website. The said Tourist Products can only be used for the day(s) chosen by the Customer when placing the Order, in the case of the purchase of dated services. The present GCS can be consulted on the website.
1.2 The Customer declares that he has the capacity to enter into this contract, i.e. that he is of legal majority and is not under guardianship or curatorship.
1.3 The placing of the Order implies the express and unreserved acceptance by the Customer of all the clauses and conditions provided for in these GCS. Consequently, the Customer declares and acknowledges having perfect knowledge of them and therefore waives the right to rely on any other document.
1.4 The Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix reserves the right to unilaterally modify these GCS at any time and to apply them to all Orders placed after the date of modification.
1.5 Orders are subject to the GTC and the Park's internal regulations.
1.6 To place an order, each customer must fill in the form with details of the services required. Before definitively registering an order, the customer will have the opportunity to check his selection and may modify it at his convenience. The order will not be definitively registered until the last validation of the order summary screen. This last "click" is assimilated to the handwritten signature referred to in Article 1341 of the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as "the acceptance click"). From the acceptance click indicated above, the order is considered irrevocable and may only be challenged in the cases provided for below. Before this last click, the Customer may identify his errors and correct them.
1.7 As soon as the order is registered, the Customer's computer will be automatically redirected to a page confirming the definitive validation of the order. The Customer will also receive a confirmation e-mail.
1.8 By keeping and/or printing the confirmation page or the e-mail sent by the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix, the Customer has proof of his/her order, which will be worth a reservation and which we advise him/her to keep.
1.9 The Customer has the guarantee that his bank account will only be debited once by the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix via its secure payment site, for the total amount of the order only after the final registration.
1.10 All the information appearing on the confirmation e-mails will be deemed to be accepted by the Customer if he has not contested them by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 8 days. However, they may only be contested insofar as they differ from the reservations.
1.11 In application of article L.121-20-4, 2° of the French Consumer Code, the Customer does not benefit from the 7-day withdrawal period provided for in article L.121-20 of the same code.
The only methods of payment accepted for orders subject to these GTC are credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard network cards are accepted) for bookings more and less than thirty days before the date of arrival and cheque, ANCV holiday vouchers and bank transfer for bookings more than thirty days before the date of arrival. Payment of the price via the website is made directly to the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix, using the Customer's credit card number via a secure payment system. Payment is made in the following way: 50% of the order (deposit) at the time of booking, then payment of the remaining balance 30 days before your stay.
Changing the date of stay or changing accommodation is not possible from one season to another.
We understand by modification: any change of date, or change of accommodation occurring more than 30 days before arrival, subject to availability and reception conditions.
Tariff conditions: 75€ administration fee plus any difference in price.
After this 30-day period, no changes can be made to the contract and no refund can be claimed.
We understand by cancellation: the total or partial cancellation of the number of participants.
> Cancellation more than 30 days before your arrival date :
the deposit received is retained.
> Cancellation less than 30 days before the date of arrival : the total amount of the services ordered is retained by the Park, i.e. 100% of the total amount of the stay.
For any stay interrupted or not consumed for any reason whatsoever, the total amount of the booked stay will be due or will be retained by the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix. No postponement of the date can be claimed.
In the event of the client's failure to show up, no reimbursement will be made.
Dated gift vouchers: the stay in a lodge in this case is valid for a fixed date, which is indicated on the gift voucher. This stay is subject to point 3 of our GTC "Modification or cancellation of the stay by the client".
Undated gift vouchers:(nature stays Lodges des Cerfs, Rivière de l'Ours Noir, Cabanes dans les arbres and Grange aux Coyotes): valid for two years from the date of purchase. The gift voucher code is valid for two years from the date of purchase. The stay is based on the price of the current summer season, after this period the amount may be valid for other seasons or other worlds within the limit of the validity of the code. After this period, they cannot be refunded or extended. The beneficiary in possession of the gift code will be able to make a reservation on the date of his or her choice (subject to availability) on https://parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com/. The vouchers may be placed by the beneficiary in the universe of his/her choice. If the beneficiary chooses a higher price category, the difference will be charged to the beneficiary; similarly, if there are price increases between the receipt of the gift voucher and its exchange, these will also be charged to the beneficiary. If, on the other hand, the amount of your stay is less than the total amount of the gift voucher, we will not be able to make any cash refund or exchange. For more information, please consult the rates: https://parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com/tarifs.
The Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix invites any purchaser of a gift voucher to inform the recipient of the gift voucher of the present general conditions of sale.
The value vouchers are valid for eighteen months from the date of creation, after this period they may not be reimbursed (except for value vouchers subject to Ordinance No. 2020-315 of 25 March 2020), nor may their validity be extended. Beneficiaries in possession of their voucher code may place their order on the date of their choice (subject to availability) on https://parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com/. If the beneficiary chooses a higher price category, the difference will be charged to the beneficiary; as well as any price increases that may occur between the receipt of the voucher and its exchange, these will also be charged to the beneficiary. If, on the other hand, the amount of the order is less than the total amount of the voucher value, we will not be able to make any cash refund or exchange. For more information, please consult the price list: https://parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com/tarifs.
For your accommodation booking, as the sums paid are not refunded in the event of cancellation, the Park recommends that you take out cancellation insurance. You can do this online with an insurance company.
Good to know: if you paid for your stay with a Master Card Gold or Visa Premier credit card, you will automatically benefit from cancellation insurance (in the event of cancellation due to a problem handled by your bank > see conditions for refunds from your bank).
4.1 In case of force majeure (exceptional event that cannot be dealt with, "orange" weather warning, bad weather, storm or thunderstorm...) or exceptional and unavoidable circumstances (epidemic...), the Management of the Sainte Croix Animal Park reserves the right to cancel your stay. If availability permits, we will offer you a relocation to another Lodge Nature less sensitive to hazards, the theoretical financial difference will not be due. And if the conditions do not allow it, we will offer you a voucher valid for 18 months. In the event of refusal, the totality of the sums paid will be refunded to you but no other compensation can be claimed.
4.2 Access to the Park is in no way a guarantee of a seat for the shows and may not give rise to any particular advantage in the event of an overcrowding. It may happen that certain activities indicated in the description on the website may be cancelled, in particular for climatic reasons, in the event of force majeure or a stay outside the tourist season. Cancellation of any activity for a case of force majeure or because of the behaviour of a third party to the contract will not in any case lead to any compensation.
4.3 Specific conditions for the " Jack London " and " Yellowstone Lodge " lodges: if the spa should fail for technical reasons, the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix will compensate the client at the daily fixed rate of 50 €.
4.4 In the event of events beyond our control, such as a general power cut, preventing us from providing the services provided for in the programme, the Management of the Sainte Croix Wildlife Park reserves the right to provide a replacement service in order to ensure the smooth running of the stay.
The descriptions of the tourist products presented on the https://parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com/tarifs website specify, for each product, the services included in the price. Only the services explicitly mentioned in the descriptions are part of the package. Prices are indicated in Euros and are understood to include all taxes, unless otherwise stated on the site. In general, and unless otherwise stated, the prices do not include: insurance and all expenses of a personal nature (food and drink already included, drinks, tips) and more generally any service not expressly mentioned on the online reservation site. The prices appearing on the site may be modified at any time, without prior notice, it being understood that such modifications will not apply to reservations previously accepted.
We remind you that to celebrate New Year's Day, the booking must include a minimum of 4 people for the Lair, the Trapper's Cabin, the Jack London Lodge, the Yellowstone lodge, the Grands Cerfs lodges and 2 people for the Coyote Barn.
The Park opens its doors during the winter period to give you an unforgettable time. For safety and accessibility reasons, some of the paths may not be accessible and some of the Park's animals will not be visible (some hibernate, others are protected from the winter weather in shelters...). Therefore, in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, a specific program is proposed to you. This program of services cannot be modified.
Multiple bookings concern the privatization for a given date, a theme or all the Nature lodges of the
Sainte Croix Animal Park (for an individual, a company, an SSC, etc.).
Multiple or group bookings and the purchase of gift vouchers are subject to the same price conditions as individual bookings and cannot give entitlement to special rates.
The purchase and conditions of use of gift vouchers are subject to point 3 of our GTC "Undated gift vouchers".

Internal regulations: any stay implies the acceptance of the special conditions and the internal regulations of the Park which prevail. In the event that the client does not respect any of these provisions, the Park will be obliged to invite the client to leave the establishment without any compensation.
The number of persons mentioned per accommodation in our rates and on the booking form corresponds to the maximum occupancy allowed, taking into account the equipment available. It cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. The price of the rental of the accommodation is calculated on a pro rata basis according to the number of people (adults and children) occupying the accommodation during the stay and is not based on the total capacity of the accommodation. In the case of bookings of 2 nights or more, all guests staying in the same accommodation will spend the same number of nights.
When the rate is subject to the age of the children, proof of the age of the children may be requested at the beginning of the stay by the staff of the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix. The age of the children on the first day of the services is then taken into account. If no such proof is presented, the adult rate will be applied.
The presence in accommodation of any child under the age of 3 must be notified to the sales department at the time of booking (via the booking form) because of the risks due to the height or equipment that some of the Park's accommodation may present for the youngest children. If these rules are not respected, the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix reserves the right to prohibit access to the accommodation without any reimbursement of the services booked.
When an age limit is applied in one of the Park's accommodations (see parcsaintecroix-lodgesnature.com), proof of the age of the children will be requested at the beginning of the stay. In the event of failure to respect this age limit, the Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix reserves the right to forbid the clients concerned access to the accommodation and this without any reimbursement of the services reserved.
Specific regulations > accommodation at the Hameau des Loups: in the event of the presence of a child under 3 years of age in accommodation at the Hameau des Loups, the use of the wood stove is strictly forbidden, for safety reasons. On arrival, accompanying adults will be asked to sign a waiver.
Our animal friends are not allowed in our accommodation and in the entire animal park (law of 10 July 1976).

Clients undertake to use their lodges as a place to relax and rest under normal conditions: no flames except for lighting the stoves and candles, no cigarettes and no alcohol brought from outside into the accommodation.
Lodgings equipped with a wood stove or fireplace (Yellowstone, Jack London, Den, Trapper, Hamlet of the Wolves, Lodge des Cerfs): use possible only in winter period.

11.4 Guests are requested to return their accommodation in a satisfactory state of cleanliness. If the accommodation is deemed too dirty, they may be asked to pay a fixed fee of 50€ to cover the additional cleaning costs. In the case of proven damage (bedding, furniture, etc.), the costs of repair/repair will be borne by the Client.
11.5 Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (+ 18 years of age) to stay in a Nature lodge.
On arrival, you will be asked to pay a security deposit of 150 euros per accommodation (450 euros for Yellowstone Lodge and Jack London Lodge accommodation, as well as the Lair and Trapper's Cabin in winter) to cover the cost of any damaged or missing equipment and the restoration of the premises. This amount must be paid by credit card. The amount, blocked on your account, will be released by the reception after checking the state of your lodge on the day of your departure. For customers whose bank is domiciled outside France, the bank will release the amount within 30 days maximum.
It is recommended not to leave valuables in the accommodation and to systematically close the doors of the accommodation during your absences, as the Client must take care of the goods and materials brought by himself or the participants.
The Client will take out any insurance policy (damage - civil liability) that he deems necessary. In particular, the Client is invited to take out a specific insurance policy in the event of the presence of large items of equipment or valuable goods insofar as the Park cannot be held liable in the event of damage to or theft of the said goods.
14.1 The Parc Animalier de Sainte Croix may be exonerated from all or part of its responsibility when the poor execution of the contract is attributable either to the Customer, or to the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party not involved in the provision of the services provided for by the GCS, or to a case of force majeure.
14.2 The Client will be held responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, that he may cause during his presence in the Sainte Croix Animal Park, whether it be with regard to the staff and/or clients of the Park, or with regard to any equipment made available to the Client by the Sainte Croix Animal Park.
